The biggest influence in my writing romance would have to be my parents. Their love for each other showed me that true love is at times a battle. That you have to work hard to keep your marriage on track, but at the end of the day, if you believe in each other it is all worth the difficulties and your love will only grow stronger.
My Dad was my hero from the time I was a little girl. He told me he taught Superman to fly and Tarzan how to swing through the trees and of course, I believed every word. He was a man I loved and respected growing up, I love you Dad, and miss you each and every day.
I started dating my husband Jim when I was seventeen; we have been together for thirty-nine years and married for thirty-seven of those years. Jim and I have two wonderful adult children; our daughter is married and has their only grandson, who just happens to be my Ray of Sunshine. Our son and his wife have graced us with our beautiful granddaughter. She is my little gem and always manages to bring a smile and happiness whenever she comes to visit. We are lucky enough to have a son-in-law we look on as a son and a daughter-in-law who we love as a daughter.
